Relocation is not only a bunch of mandatory and bureaucratic matters. Instead it should be stress-free, fun and memorable experience.

We offer comprehensive relocation services in Finland to make integration into the new country and culture as successful as possible. We have divided the relocation into three parts, the success of each part is critical for a great relocation experience. We offer all this in one package, but we can also customize the package according to your needs!

Human to Human

Every relocation is unique, same as every person. We do all the actions with the new employee and offer on-going support that lasts 4 months after arrival.

Getting things done

Eventually, to ensure that the relocation experience is exceptional it is important to get things done. We create seamless process and make sure that all parties are well informed throughout the process.

Something unique and extra

We will always take relocation one step further. We really want to make everyone feel welcome that is why we always arrange something extra.

Our Process

  • Relocation consultation = Going through the process and every step in detail with the employee and client.

    Residence Permit / EU-registration

    1. Every Relocation process is unique and that is why we go through each situation in detail and draw a clear map how the relocation will go.

    2. After knowing the person we will help introduce the process and help to prepare all necessary documents and inform which ones need to be legalized.

    3. Making and submitting the applications.

    4. Identification in VFS Global / Finnish Embassy / Migri (depending about the case)

    5. Arrival to Finland (EU-registration identification is done after arrival to Finland)

    Arranging an Apartment

    NextLink always takes the employee’s needs into account when arranging the apartment, whether it is a long-term or short-term apartment. We are able to arrange both furnished and unfurnished apartments based on the wishes. We coordinate the apartment to be ready for moving when the employee arrives in Finland. Due to this fact, the client or employee does not have to pay for staying in a hotel, which would significantly increase the costs of the relocation.

    3. Visiting apartments in person and taking videos

    4. Connecting the employee and the landlord, when a suitable apartment has been found

    5. Helping employee in apartment related matters, for example electricity, internet & insurances

    Support for the Family

    We provide extensive support also for the family. We will assist the spouse in job hunting (looking through the CV and make recommendations, guide to places from where jobs can be found and do applications and interview coaching).

    For kids we will help to find schools and kindergartens. We search and contact suitable ones based on needs. After that we connect suitable places with the family.

    We also help to find hobbies and groups where people can spend time so that it is possible to really integrate to their new country.

    If wanted we will guide to places where it is possible to study the Finnish language.

    We will book appointments to DVV and Tax Administration and visit in person there with the employee and the person’s family.

    All the necessary bureaucratic actions are done together with the person and family, including consulting and preparing all needed documents.

    We make sure that these actions are carried out smoothly and quickly.

    These actions need to be done in certain order and there need to be always right documents. Otherwise, there might be huge delays, which makes it harder to settle to a new country.

    We have created a process to this which maximizes outstanding relocation experience.

  • When an employee arrives in Finland, the first four months are critical. During this time, the employee can experience a rollercoaster of emotions and challenges in a new environment.

    We provide 4 months support for the employee, the purpose is to help the employee get to grip with life in a new country. We help with daily life and we are constantly available if the employee has any questions or issues. In addition to this we provide a city tour in the new home city and always something special and extra in order to create the best possible relocation experience.

    We create a safety net for the employee and make them feel welcome, allowing your new employee to focus 100% on the new job.
